WorkbenchOngoing
Things I was curious enough to build. Some finished, some still unfolding.
On the bench
-
01
Pulsar
Dreamcast controllers, Maple Bus, Bluetooth, and a small piece of hardware between them.
-
02
Common Parlance
An experiment in making AI conversations useful for research without surrendering the people inside them.
-
03
Divining Top
Searching for Magic cards by what they actually do, not just what they happen to say.
Notebook
Off the bench
Finished, paused, abandoned, or too small to need a name.
-
Molecular Modeling GPU
Monte Carlo simulation of molecules drifting through blood vessels — a master's thesis, rebuilt on a modern GPU until it ran two thousand times faster.
Overtaken by a better model of the same physics.
-
eBay Repricer
A weekly repricer for a personal stack of video-game listings, with its own small archive of what those games actually sell for.
eBay never granted access to sold-listings data, and a pilot to infer it from active listings never found a usable correlation with completed prices.
-
eBay AI Buyer
Pointed a vision model at retro game listings to judge value, completeness and profit, then recommend buy, watch or ignore.
Fun to build, but not how I wanted to spend the time.
